Great photos of the recent Burning Man 2013 festival taken by Capetonian photographer Celeste van Rooyen.

Capetonian photographer Celeste van Rooyen recently attended and photographed this year’s Burning Man festival in the Black Rock Desert in Nevada, which hosted over 68,000 people during the weeklong event.

Here’s a selection of Celeste’s photos, captured using a Canon 5D Mark III and a Sigma 85mm f/1.4. Celeste used a single lens, taped to the camera body and covered in a plastic bag to prevent the fine desert dust from entering the camera. For more of her Burning Man photos, visit Celeste’s blog or follow her on Facebook.
