Canon has just added a 5th lens to their RF family and released a portrait lens for their full-frame mirrorless camera, meet the new RF 85mm f/1.2L USM lens.

Earlier this year Canon announced the development of six new upcoming RF lenses for the new Canon EOS R mirrorless system. Today we meet the first of those six; the all-new RF 85mm f/1.2L USM

Developed to be your new go-to portrait lens this short telephoto lens features a fixed 85mm focal length and a wide F1.2 maximum aperture allowing you to get your shot even in the lowest of lighting situations.

This is the first in Canon’s new line of RF lenses to feature its Blue Spectrum Refractive Optics which helps to reduce chromatic aberrations and colour fringing.
