The Cape Town School of Photography is presenting a short course on documentary photography and telling stories through images.
The Cape Town School of Photography is presenting a short course on documentary photography from the end of January until March.
There are stories all around us. Some poignant, some personal, some ‘make a difference’ and some are just beautiful. This advanced course is aimed at experienced students wishing to develop a creative and committed working practice within a documentary context. Students will be introduced to current creative aspects of image development and narrative processes. The course will help students to critically engage with their images and the potential progression of their projects. Students will be guided through the process as they develop their own documentary portfolio piece and gain valuable insight into navigating the industry of documentary photography.
The course starts on Tuesday 28th January through to the 18 March. The course is eight 3-hour session in the evenings between 18h00 and 21h00. Course cost is R3400.
