Photos from last night’s Exhibit B pop-up photographic installation exhibition at Side Street Studios in Woodstock.

Pop-up exhibitions have become quite a trend lately, and we are loving the idea more and more. Not only do they allow curators to work outside of the restrictions of a gallery, they also showcase the amazing spaces that Cape Town has to offer.

Last night was no different. We popped into Side Street Studios in Woodstock where Exhibit B – a group photographic installation exhibition, presented by Max Mogale and curated by Yang Zhao – was up for one night only.

Artists were asked to depict what โ€˜boredomโ€™ meant to them through installations constructed around their images. Exhibiting artists included: Max Mogale, Danielle Clough, Paul Ward, Urban Mosadi, Kai Kevlar, Azeulah, Anelisa Mangcu and Alix-Rose Cowie.

It was a beautiful evening in Cape Town and reminded us why we love this city so much! Check out some of the works:
