Conservation/Total Archival Framing:  The choice of museums, collectors and art investors, conservation or total archival framing ensures a lifetime of protection or preservation of an artwork. With 20 years experience in this particular speciality, we have mastered the fine art of conservation or archival framing:

  • We import the highest-quality museum glass from Germany. This glass is 98% UV resistant with extraordinary non-reflective properties.
  • We mount onto various archival substrates of which Dibond® is the most commonly used worldwide.
  • We are the sole agent of Diasec® in Africa, making South Africa one of only eight countries in the world licensed to perform this exclusive archival face-mounting procedure.

Shadow Box Framing:  A popular contemporary method of framing, shadow box framing is a great way to frame those precious 3D objects or collector’s items. Box-like in profile, shadow box framing uses various frame depths to achieve different effects. We can achieve different depths (up to 100 mm) and offer an extensive range of colours from which to choose.

Cold Mounting If you have a valuable print you’d like framed, but want it protected during the framing process, cold mounting is your best option. No heat is used in the adhesion process, so the risk of damaging your print during the mounting process is greatly decreased. We cold mount onto:

  • Triplex
  • ABS (Acrylonitrile Butadiene Styrene)
  • Dibond®
  • Aluminium
  • Foamcore

Turnaround time:
Approximately 10 days, depending on the complexity of the frame chosen.
