Exploded view photographs of objects separated into their individual parts by Todd McLellan.

These photographs by Todd McLellan are reminiscent of the “exploded view” illustrations one finds in Dorling Kindersley children’s books. Indeed, Todd was inspired to shoot the project based on his fascination with disassembling products which started at a young age. Below you’d find the deconstructed photographs of a Pentax SLR, a typewriter and a flip clock. View the entire series, as well as an interview, over at My Modern Met.
