Ever wondered what the footage of feature films look like straight out of camera? Here’s a great before-and-after look!

If you’ve ever wonder what film footage looks like before and after it’s graded, the video above offers a great look at the raw, flat footage and the various stages of colour grading that gets applied in order to realise the final aesthetic of the movie.

The footage in question isย from an independent horror/thriller film called “The House on Pine Street”, hence the darker look and colder tones. It wasย shot on a Sony F55 camera in LOG format and colour graded by colourist Taylre Jones at Grade.
