Kyle Mijlof photographed these waterfalls in Ghana, while visiting the country as part of his 18 month photographic journey through Africa, Europe and the Middle-East.

“These beautiful falls are hidden away in the woods close to the Kumasi/Kintampo highway in Ghana. The fall is only four kilometres away from the town on the Kintampo-Tamale highway. This is the point where the Pumpu River falls some seventy metres down beautiful rocky steps to continue its journey towards the Black Volta at Buipe. I was lucky enough to see the falls on a local University outing which can best be described as a ragging environment.”

About the photographer: While studying, Kyle experimented with live band photography, which progressed to magazine cover shoots and ultimately a job as a night life photographer. After graduating from a sound design course at AFDA Film School, Kyle spent his savings on a Canon 5D Mark II and set off on his amazing photographic journey.
