Take a look at these beautiful moonlit portraits taken by Argentinian photographer and photojournalist Alejandro Chaskielberg. Shooting mostly on film, Alejandro has developed his signature style of shooting portraits and landscapes using only the full moon as his light source (Update: He also makes use of strobes and continuous light to add fill) – which means that his portrait subjects have to stand motionless for the duration of the long exposure – a feat made even more impressive by the fact that he can’t preview the shots after each exposure. Read an interview with Alejandro on BBC’s News in Pictures, or view his portfolio.
