Photographs Taken On 15 Year Old Film

Cape Town-based wedding photographer Mark Kalkwarf has been experimenting with some 15 year old expired medium format slide film, and the results are amazing! Our darkroom guru Hilary hand-processed the film using very interesting techniques. We would share these methods, but he doesn’t want to give away his secrets! All we can say is that given the results, hearing how it was done was quite surprising. Check the last image for a photo of the book that was used as reference.
