Photos from inside the exclusion zone surrounding the crippled Fukushima Dai-ichi nuclear power plant in Japan.

For the first time this year, press photographers were recently allowed inside the exclusion zone surrounding Japan’s Fukushima Dai-ichi nuclear power plant. Following the devastating earthquake and tsunami earlier this year, Japan has been struggling to contain the worst nuclear disaster since Chernobyl. Here’s some photographs taken by David Guttenfelder of the Associated Press. Visit the Denver Post to see all the photos.
