We printed photos onto wood for Photoblox yesterday – here’s a few behind-the-scenes photos of the printer in action.

Take a look at these behind-the-scenes photos of our Ocรฉ Arizona 360 GT printing photographs onto wood for our new client, Photoblox.

Photoblox is a local Capetonian startup that offers to ‘solidify your memories’ with wooden prints of your favourite photos – even Facebook and Instagram pictures. For more information, contact Roche via email or like them on Facebook. Photoblox will also be exhibiting at the upcoming Design Indaba, so look out for them when you’re there!

Printing On Wood With Photoblox & Orms

    1. Hi Floyd, the prints are printed with UV cured ink, and are water resistant. To test this, we left an aluminium print in water overnight last week, with no noticeable problems. As for the actual plywood blocks – it will depend on wether they are submerged or just splashed on. What were you thinking of using them for?
