The Samsung Galaxy S4 Zoom is a powerful smartphone running Android 4.2 Jelly Bean. At the heart of the phone is a fast 1.5 GHz dual core processor and 1.5 GB of RAM. The beautiful sAMOLED display measures 4.3″ diagonally, and the crisp 960×540 resolution is great for everything from browsing photos to watching videos and playing games.
Turn the phone around, and you’ll notice the impressive 10x optical zoom lens with optical image stabilisation. In 35mm equivalent terms, the lens ranges from 24-240mm, at f/3.1-6.3. Behind the lens is a 16 megapixel BSI CMOS sensor, and around it is a handy control ring for adjusting modes and exposure settings.
Speaking of modes, the camera application includes a huge range of shooting options which will cater for every situation you find yourself in. Wether you like controlling the exposure exactly with manual modes, or snapping away in automatic modes, the S4 Zoom will have you covered.

My husband bought it for me because I take pictures with my iPhone. There have been times that I have wanted to get a closer picture of a subject from across the street. Playing around with it I’m able to get very detailed with something across the room., such as you can see each individual hairr on the dog or the details of flower. I haven’t had a chance to catch a bird in flight, yet. The lens itself, has to be perfectly centered and it’s easy to get it off center. This could be because I have only used it over my iPhone case.
