Today (Monday, November 14, 2016) we will have a supermoon in the sky to photograph. Ted Forbes from The Art of Photography shared a quick video about this rather exciting event, discussing what it means and touches on how to photograph it.

As many of you are already aware, the full moon tonight will be the closest and largest since 1948, hence the name Supermoon. What’s more, the full moon won’t come this close to earth again until Nov. 25, 2034, according to a statement from NASA.

This is bound to be rather spectacular, so be sure to get your camera ready! And for those of you who do intend to shoot the supermoon tonight, be sure to share your images with us! We would love to see your shots. Simply use the #ishootwithorms hashtag!
