Photographer, Creative Director, Stylist, Producer Photographer, Creative Director, Stylist, Producer and all-round powerhouse @gabriellekannemeyer is the creative industry's gift that keeps on giving. Her strong visual language is characterised by an almost painterly layering of tone and texture, a nod to not only her expansive career as a stylist but also her background in the fine arts.
In this image for @dailypaper's SS20 campaign, Kannemeyer uses the Canon EOS 5D Mark IV, paired with the Canon EF 24-105mm f/4L IS II USM lens to transport us to a far away universe, a heavenly body with rules of its own. Shot off an island near Accra, Kannemeyer used a Kino Flo lighting system and smoke effects to achieve the ethereal tonal and textural qualities in this portrait.

Dale shoots on a Fuji-XT3 and use a 23mm lens mostly (it's compact and lightweight so it's easy to carry around on long city walks. It's also not intrusive so it's a good option for street shots). Her gear bag also boasts a 50mm and the kit lens (18-55mm).
In addition to the lenses, Dale also has a prism glass and a couple of prism filters she uses to create dreamy images.

This image of @shekhinahd for the March cover of @glamour_sa is exactly that. It's moody, it commands your attention and above all, it's just straight up beautiful!
To create this image, Aart shot on the Sony a7R III with a Sigma 50mm f/1.4 DG HSM Art Lens. The contrast between light and dark was achieved by using static and flash lighting.

"The natural world is the greatest source of excitement: the greatest source of visual beauty: the greatest source of intellectual interest. It is the greatest source of so much in life that makes life worth living."
