Enhance your portraits with Manfred Werner’s basic skin retouching tips in this week’s Photoshop video tutorial.
Please note: This video is suitable for advanced and intermediate photoshop users!
In this video tutorial, I will show you some of my techniques that I use for my basic skin retouching.
Firstly, we are going to create new “retouch” & “help” layers. We will then run through our help layer and point out all the areas that we want to retouch. Once we are done with that, we will create a new empty layer, select the healing brush tool and start healing on our pointed out areas. While we are healing, I will stop the healing process
and show you better technique to do basic skin retouching, which should give you a quicker and easier retouching workflow.
Quick reminder: When working with the healing brush, keep on changing your brush sizes frequently.
