Orms Prophoto Lab has launched a new service for preserving your treasured photo albums. Each page gets digitised at a high resolution, enabling you to crop out individual photographs for further retouching. As part of the launch, they are offering a discounted promotion.

It is a fact of life: All photos fade eventually. No matter how well they are preserved in an album, original photos lose their colour and vibrancy over time. Fortunately, there is a solution to this problem: High Resolution Flatbed Scanning.
The Prophoto Lab here at ORMS has decided to charge a ridiculously low scanning price of R10.00 per photo album page (normal price: R40.00). Each page is scanned to 25MB file size using the high-end reproduction quality flatbed scanner. The hi-res scans of each page would allow one to extract every photo individually to retouch at a later stage, so apart from preserving the album one preserves the individual photos as well.
