Let’s talk portraits, because they can be so much fun and there’s no reason why you can’t nail it every time. So we are back with Toronto-based, photographer Peter McKinnon to share a few tips and really step it up and take your portrait photography to the next level.
As Peter says; “We don’t necessarily need new gear or high-quality equipment to do this, we just need to learn how to communicate with our subjects better. The key to taking a good portrait is being able to connect and pull the personality from your subject and learn to portray that within a single frame. It takes practice, but it’s more about the relationship with you and your talent vs simply *snapping photos*.”
