Astronaut Photography: Astronaut Don Pettit creates stunning images that show us Earth from above as we’ve never seen it before.
This is an incredibly interesting short film by SmugMug Films called “From Above” – Astronaut Photography with Don Pettit. Astronaut Don Pettit has become one of the most prolific astronaut photographers during his stay on the International Space Station. He captures breathtaking images of Earth’s most famous phenomena – aurora, star trails, city lights and more. Photography forms a big part of an astronaut’s job requirement, however Pettit’s natural curiosity has led him to not only add great scientific value, but also create stunning images that show us Earth from above as we’ve never seen it before.
