View the second installation of our Tutorial Wednesdays! Today you’ll learn how to optimise your menus for a faster workflow.

And we’re back with the second Tutorial Wednesday from Manfred Werner! In today’s video, Manfred shares some advice on how to optimise your Photoshop menus for a speedier workflow. Remember to take a look at last week’s tutorial too, if you missed it.

Please note: This video tutorial requires no advanced Photoshop skills.

In this video tutorial I will show you a quick technique on how to colorize your drop down menus in Adobe Photoshop. First up, I will move over to the Edit drop down menu and select the Menus option. Secondly, I will move over to the menus option in the keyboard shortcuts and menus window. I will then select the application menus and start colorizing my menus.

Once we are done with that, I will also show you how to disable an option from your drop down menu i.e. activate or deactivate the visibility mode. Fourth and last step, I will also show you how to apply these settings to your panel menus which are located in your workspace area.

All of these settings are reversible, so no need to worry if you make a mistake. If you do have any questions about this tutorial, please leave a comment below!
