Beautiful landscapes found by Aaron Hobson and photographed by Google’s Street View cars.
As an end to his four year Cinemascapes project (subtitled: “Close quarter panoramics. Open ended narratives.”), photographer/director Aaron Hobson turned to Google’s Street View cars as ‘his’ cameras.
“In search of enchanted and remote lands typically only reserved for the eyes of it’s inhabitants, but now are captured on camera by the automated and aesthetically-neutered google street view cars that linger.”
While the idea of using automated cameras for photography isn’t new, Aaron has managed to find some beautiful and scenic photographs taken by Google’s cars. Check out the rest of the project at Aaron’s website. Click the images below for larger views.
