Must-see: “The Little Nordics” is an awesome tilt/shift time-lapse short filmed in Norway and Iceland.
It’s been a while since we’ve seen a good tilt/shift time-lapse film – one of the last being Timmy Henny’s locally filmed “Mini Cape“.
“The Little Nordics” was filmed by Martijn Doolaard in Norway and Iceland, with additional footage by Siebren Doolaard. The footage was shot with a Canon 7D and a Canon 50mm f/1.8 over period of two summers, and Martijn achieved the miniature effect by speeding up the footage four times and adding the impressive tilt/shift effect in post-production. To further enhance the illusion, he added sound effects for the mini-people and vehicles, recording things like a blender in water for the sounds of the tiny boats!
