A behind the scenes look at a typical day with street fashion photographer Nick Fancher.
This short documentary by Andy Newman takes a look at a typical day in the life of Nick Fancher, an Ohio-based portrait and commerce photographer. Nick works in a fast paced fashion environment, as a result lifestyle images need to be created on a daily basis. On a typical day 8-12 brands will need to be photographed in a matter of a few hours.
Given the high turn around time Nick says he often has no idea what the location for that day will be. He has to think on his feet, and find different ways to get the most from each location. He also tells us a little about his setup, traveling light and getting the most with the equipment he typically has with him.
