Photographic Inspiration: German photographer Robert Götzfried masterfully captured the ordinary in his latest series “Back Roads”. Take a look…
There’s something so beautiful about capturing the ordinary, today we look at a collection of photographs by German photographer, Robert Götzfried called “Back Roads”.
Robert recently shared the images on his Behance profile that he took during a trip of the US, beautifully documenting some of the many forgotten buildings and spaces. About the project Robert says: “When I drove through the southern states of the USA I decided to avoid the interstates and travel on the back roads instead. I found amazing places in a world that only existed in the past I thought. Obviously I was wrong. Check it out and follow me on my trip from Washington DC to Memphis, Tennessee.”
I love the simplicity of the images and how each photo draws you in. You can’t help but wonder who lived there, who worked there, what stories those walls hold and why they aren’t in use any longer.
