In order to upload to Galleries on Orms Connect certain guidelines have to be adhered to. Please read these guidelines, if you agree to them start sending your photographs to francois@orms.co.za to share with like-minded people. Please use the subject line: Orms Connect Photo Submissions
Technical guidelines
Please upload photographs that are no larger than 2mb in size, no higher resolution than 1500×1500 pixels and preferably in JPEG format. Please include your name and surname in the filename, and if you have an EXIF editor, be sure to include your name in the copyright field, as well as the title field. Please don’t send photographs with borders or frames… as we are very proud of our new site’s styling and borders can throw out the look of the galleries.* We also watermark the image for you, tag the copyright if it isn’t tagged and feature your name prominently, so it is not necessary to include your own watermark.
Terms and Conditions
Orms Connect is committed to freedom of expression where it does not infringe on South African law or any person’s right to dignity and respect. In terms of our gallery submission guidelines; that translates to: no pornography, disparagement of race, gender, age, ethnicity, nationality, religion, sexual orientation, gender identity, disability, language ability, ideology, social class, occupation, appearance (height, weight, skin colour, etc.), mental capacity and is not in violation of copyright.
