A video by Ted Forbes that will certainly get you thinking, watch as Ted considers the statement and if it’s really the “brutal truth”.
Ted Forbes from The Art of Photography has again shared a rather important video recently that will certainly get you thinking. In it, he looks at what he calls “the brutal truth”, “Nobody cares about your photography. The world doesn’t need any more photographers. It doesn’t need any more musicians, writers, filmmakers, artists or actors either. We have enough. It’s over-saturated”.
But is that the truth? Ted argues that perhaps it is to some degree, but that the world does need work that matters. Our culture depends on it. Perhaps instead of simply taking part in a “popularity contest”, we should all strive to “create something that means something”.
