Flickr is one of the easiest ways to share images online.
Flickr is one of the easiest ways to share images online. With a very large community of great photographers and active commenters, there’s something for everyone – from those that just want to look at amazing images to those that want to spread their work.
For the Orms fans that already use the service, we’ve created an official Orms Flickr group. Join, drop your images into the pool and share them with other community members. More information is available on the group page, under the About heading.
If you’re not a member of Flickr yet, and would like to try it out, getting started is very easy. Just head over to the Sign Up page and follow the prompts. After you have created an account, you can upload images, start following photographers, and join groups. Remember to visit the Orms Group!
To be clear, the Flickr group isn’t a replacement of the “Your Photos” galleries on Facebook, or the Community Galleries on Orms Connect – it is merely another place to share your photos with the Orms community. Images submitted to the Orms pool on Flickr will count as submissions for either of the other galleries as well – so keep an eye out to see if your photos get featured!
We’re also in the process of coming up with a new Monthly Photo Competition system, as the previous system doesn’t comply with Facebook’s promotion guidelines anymore. What we can say is that the competition will be run on Orms Connect – so watch this space.
Looking forward to seeing some great images!
