We’ve shared a hand-full of short films by SmugMug over the last year, each as fantastic as the last. They tell the story of extraordinary photographers who go out of their way to push the boundaries and capture something unique. As with their earlier work, “The Iceland Trifecta” inspires and fuels one’s creativity. We watch as adventure photographer Tim Kemple captures stunning landscapes and rarely-documented feats of physical endurance and skill as the team goes ice climbing in Iceland.
This film gives the viewer insight into Tim’s process, but also captures the landscape and action very elegantly. This film blurs the line between behind-the-scenes, adventure film, and short documentary. As always the footage is loaded with slow motion and the epic Icelandic landscapes, it’s no wonder that this country has become a prime destination for photographers and filmmakers the world over.
