“365 Days In Infrared”: A photo-a-day project by Kate Davies that presents life in the beautiful spectrum of infrared light.

For the majority of the last year, Cape Town-based photographer Kate Davies has been busy with a photo-a-day project titled “365 Days In Infrared”.

As the name suggests, the project is shot entirely in infrared, yielding bizarre yet beautiful colours. The subjects include everything from landscapes to urban scenes to portraits to animals – one of Kate’s main loves – and ultimately, the project will culminate in a photographic exhibition in February next year. We’ll share more details about the show closer to the date, but in the meantime you can follow the remaining days of the project on Instagram and Pinterest, and view more of Kate’s work on her website.
