View these incredible landscapes and urban scapes captured by young Capetonian photographer Daniel Grebe.
These beautiful images were created by young Capetonian photographer Daniel Grebe.
In Daniel’s own words:
“My name is Daniel Grebe, I’m 19 years old, and photography has engrossed my life from a very young age.
I grew up in the small fishing/surfing village of Kommetjie situated in Cape Town, South Africa. I’ve pretty much grown up by the ocean and have been brought up in the waves, learning to move with them and ride them and this is where I found photography.
It all started with the urge to take photos of waves and of my friends surfing and enjoying the ocean. At the age of 12 years old I received my first bridge camera and started snapping away at pretty much anything I could find.Β Now, 7 years later I have moved a tad bit up the scale, and my attention has shifted from the ocean and waves, onto all the other ‘categories’ of photography. I wouldn’t really say I’m focused on a certain topic or aspect of photography as I enjoy everything about it.
I do still have a long road of learning ahead of me, which Im rather excited for. I am attending a two year full time course at the Cape Town School of Photography next year as a student photographer, where I can further fuel my passion for photography and hopefully fulfill my dream and goal to becoming a professional photographer.”
Daniel’s work has been featured in a selection of local and international publications, including Zigzag, PiX, The UK’s Digital Photographer magazine, Hawaii’s SURFER magazine, and the UAE’s Commercial Interior Design magazine.
