Visual inspiration: French landscape photographer, Loïc Le Quéré has mastered the art of evoking emotion through his incredible landscape images. Take a look…
I recently read an old book about photography, one of the chapters discussed the importance of the photographer’s ability to portray emotion through an image. In other words, what they felt when they made the picture. What emotions were evoked, how did the scene or subject make them feel? It’s an art, being able to communicate that emotion through the image, to the viewer. Certainly far easier said than done. Enter Paris-based photographer, Loïc Le Quéré with his series “Loneliness”. Loïc evokes the sense of “loneliness” beautifully through this moody landscape series by the same name.
Loïc Le Quéré has been a freelance photo retoucher for the last 15 years, with his main area of focus being Paris based advertising. About his photography he says, “My second passion is photography that I exercise for fun …”.
