Welcome to the new Photoshop video tutorial series presented by Manfred Werner. These new tutorials are aimed at intermediate to advanced Photoshop users, but you can get up to speed by viewing the Basics & Tools series. Hair Retouching Techniques will be a four part series and each video will be between 15 and 20 minutes.
In todays video tutorial, I will show you my techniques for basic hair retouching. First off I will create two layers and rename and group them into a group called HC, or “Healing & Cloning layer”. Once we are done with that I’ll selected my cloning tool and start cloning on the hair. But before I start cloning, I adjust my tool with a small trick. After that, I’ll switch over to my healing layer, select my healing brush and start working on different areas!
Please note: That I use both my layers in different situations, and watch out for patterns and texture! If you do have any questions about this please leave a comment below.
