A Thread of Life, The Olifants River is a short film focussing on the research and environmental education work done by South African conservationist and photographer, John Lucas, created by Media Village Productions.
The video documents the efforts of John’s Explore4Knowledge program, and specifically the E4K Water Project.
Through Explore4Knowledge, John and his partners are educating people and children in rural areas about the importance of conservation, through the use of hands-on demonstrations, as well as photography as a medium. John also performs crucial research, which will lead to a better understanding of our impact on our precious resources.
