A little free spirited inspiration this afternoon with The Artist Report. Braedon sat down with wedding and lifestyle photographer Jenavieve Belair to talk about putting yourself out there and finding a style that you love. Jenavieve’s style is extremely youthful and fun, watch as she shares her take on getting the jobs you want, being inspired and getting started. “Bring your camera with you everywhere and don’t be afraid to reach out to people you’d like to photograph. Post your photos and tag the brand to see on Instagram” she says. And explains how Instagram has connected her with brands that she would have never been able to connect with otherwise.
She continues to explain how she started shooting weddings when she felt like she was stuck in the “vain” fashion world. She was able to create her own hybrid of lifestyle work with wedding work. “When you feel like everyone’s doing the same thing, branch out to new things. Don’t be afraid to show people the work you’ve created.”
