Magical landscapes photographed in the Drakensberg Mountains in Lesotho by Sean Konig.
These magical landscape photos were captured in the Drakensberg by Harrismith-based photographer Sean Konig.
Traveling through Lesotho, Sean packed lightly and only made use of the bare essentials for photographing landscapes, a camera and a lens, so that he could focus on the subjects and the lighting instead of the gear. He explains: “Going into Lesotho I did not plan anything. I feel my best work comes this way, with no expectations. I just photographed the beauty in front of me. I did not pack heavy gear, and shot with a Canon 600D and the standard Canon 18-55mm lens.”
Sean recently started printing his work at Orms Print Room & Framing, and his photographs are available for purchase on his website. You can also stay up to date with his latest projects on Facebook, Behance and 500px.
