The Cape Town School of Photography opened their “Intimate Inanimate” student exhibition on Thursday evening.
If you enjoy good music, wine and are looking to see some exciting and different photography, then the “Intimate Inanimate” exhibition opening would have been for you.
Thursday the 18th June, The Cape Town School of Photography displayed the talents of their first and second year students. The exhibition represented only 6 months of study for the first years, process work for the second years, as well as work from the part-time students. The event was definitely a success with a packed house. It was also a rare opportunity to see what happens ‘behind the scenes’ in creating a body of work, and to witness how the process work often produces beautiful art in and of itself.
The exhibition is open to the public during normal office hours (except for Friday when they close at 3pm) for the next two months. It’s also a great opportunity for those interested in studying photography, particularly full-time, to see the kind of work and the calibre of work that the students of CTSP produce.
