1st to Comment 1st to win? 😀
The fact that it holds Sleeping Pad, Small Tent, Axe, Poles and Two Liter Hydration Compartment
I commented earlier and now it has removed my comment? But I’ll comment again coz i want to win for Christmas 🙂
Combining hiking and photography as a sport and nature photographer will ensure that all outings will be in one bag. Enough capacity for water and sleeping gear with the 2 bodies and lenses will ensure that those remote scenes can be captured, those where others seldom get too.
The ability to hold a tent in a camera bag is a fantastic idea. Means I can take a break at any time or settle down in one area if I have a specific photographic project in mind where I have to stay in one place for an extended time. Will also protect me from the elements.
The two litre hydration compartment would save the day for me, as well as space for a sleeping bag. All the space you need for an adventure!
One could be like Bear Grylls…without the camera crew. The ulitmate photographer 🙂
It can take loads of stuff and Christmas too!!!!
The compartment for a tripod. It is so awesome being able to take star trail photos while camping on a hike, but a tripod is such a hassle to carry along.
Definitely the ability to pack several hiking related items and still keeping your gear safe…and accessing your gear via two ways 🙂
Why that would be the Light-weight, adjustable trampoline-style suspension system of course..
Wow, this would be such a useful carrier for all my action photography kit and the water bladder holder is perfect for long days shooting in the South African sun.
Being more of a day-hiker, the fluid compartment would help me the most!
1 bag – many adventures 🙂
I think the waist belt is the greatest addition to this bag as it’ll help keep it from bouncing around too much.
Perfect for riding my motorcycle off road. It is water-resistent and can be carried very close to the body. So it is not an obstacle, when you have to stand up.
I could then go rockhopping………..hands free………Yaaa
Storage storage storage, amazing.
The fact that it carries everything I need in such a small space is incredible. Perfect for day-hikes and weekend trail-walks I’m busy planning for 2014.
To be able to go hiking and exploring in nature to get good images and know that you have atleast enough camping gear to stay the night if you desire to shoot the location your at, at dawn 🙂
I would only have to take ONE bag to hold ALL my equipment and necessaries for the hike. This really is an all-in-one bag!
Camping on a whim? Yes please!!
Tent and sleeping bag? The rover pro will go further with me than any bag has gone before…
Having an awesome bag like this will really help me get out there keeping my gear safe and secure. I love the hydration apartment as I am always worried about mixing water and camera gear.
I love ALL the features!
The whole package, just amazing, but to be able to drink water with the Two Liter Hydration Compartment, fantastic, gives me free hands. You can not walk without water.
Having a front and side access – is pretty amazing. Quite often when it comes to photography getting the camera out as quickly as you can can mean amazing shot. So access can make it or break it when it comes to picture taking.
To have a bag that its it all is at least as important. Since it is impossible to carry a camera bag and another bag with all the tent, sleep bag and so on. So this is perfect for me so that I can take off for a weekend of adventure and photography.
being able to ad a tent, hands down the best feature.
With such an awesome bag from such an awsome company like Orms, what more do i want to take my photography outdoors and to another level. Such a lot of storage space for equipment your hands are free to take that shot you dreamed of.
Totally the Water-Resistant Exterior! As an Oceanographer I NEED to have my kits splash proof! This will be the best bag for any adventure!
To have my tripods on my back and not in my hands.
I like that it is able to carry a small tent and sleeping matress for the overnight photography outings.
I like the fact that I can carry a heavy load comfortably and the hydration ready side pocket is just the perfect place to store some ice cold water for drinking.
The ergonomics and the fact that all my gear is easily stowable in one bag will making strenuous hikes to exotic locations that much easier!
Shooting extreme sports requires extreme equipment. A Lowepro bag is the most essential of all of these – without whcih, many locations would be impossible to shoot!
This really is a fantastic pack, and is just what I need, complete with hydration compartment, all the compartments to stow camera and other equipment safely for days out.
I love the 2L hydration pack !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
The whole package is great, this is definitely going on my wish list for when i do travel photography. im sure everyone knows the pain we go through as photographers traveling, its a real commitment to travel with equipment. The side quick access is very important and the water resistant! so needed.
Well these Holidays my wife and I are hiking The Whale Trail. So for me, the whole package the the bag offers would be ideal (I’m busy looking for a backpack now). Especially the Two Liter Hydration Compartment for this summer, cause it’s going to be hot.
What an awesome backpack! I love the 2L hydration compartment. That’s thinking out of the box.
The two litre hydration pack is a winner!
Having the hydration pack within the backpack is a win win situation for me. as my current bag is an over the shoulder bag I tend to leave some equipment behind to lessen the load. The Lowepro Rover Pro 35L AW would really make my life easier
The fact that it can hold a small tent is amazing, so convenient!!!
I like the many storage options that are easy to access.
The hydration compartment!
I’ll finally have a big enough bag to travel decently without having to drag arouund an extra smaller bag for my gear
Its Many Storage Options, Front and Side Access ….gives this bag a multitude of capabilities and capacity, to get you through a day in the field or an overnight hike or climb.
Nice bag! If I don’t win it I may have to buy myself a late Christmas present…
That easily adjustable suspension system.
Wow amazing bag , fingers crossed for winning!! Then ill be on m way to go do some camping and take some amazing pics for Orms January photo of the month comp!! And with all the storage space and the ability to take a small tent il be taking photos for days non stop in the woods
For the sure the integrated water pack!
Definitely the 2l hydration pack! This is great for our hikes up Lion’s Head to snap amazing shots of Cape Town’s coastline(s)! 🙂
The fact that I don’t need separate storage for my camping gear, and the integrated water storage is awesome!
Two Removable Camera Cases. Great way to keep things in order and for convenient removal.
The fact that it holds a Sleeping Pad, Small Tent, Axe, Poles!
The Two Liter Hydration Compartment means I can hydrate without having to break concentration or free my hands while waiting for the right moment to press the shutter!
the color blue…
The Sleeping Pad feature will definitely enhance my adventuring
I really love ALL the features but will settle for the two removable camera cases!!!
The 2 litre hydration pack – excellent!
A lot of great features, all adding together to make it a great package. The convenience of being able to carry the tripod, tent, water, etc etc, and the camera gear all water proof, is perfect! I find the removable camera bags also a plus! 🙂
the easy access from the front of the back-pack – would save so much time digging down from the top! Love the all-in-one approach!
One bag for all needs… Awesome!
Combining camping gear and photography equipment in the same bag, that’s the most awesome feature this bag can offer!! Can’t wait to have this one!
it’s the hydration pack and camping gear storage all in one that would really enhance my adventures, no need to carry separate bags! means more energy to shoot for longer!
I love the 2L hydration pack – definitely a great feature.
Water-Resistant Exterior is a must, would hate to have any of my kit get wet, you can sometimes never predict the weather 100% and don’t want to miss doing something just cause of a little rain
being able to remove camera gear from the top or front, and the hydration pack,
Love the easy front access and hydration compartment, would do nicely on my upcoming Taiwan adventure!
The ability to include sleeping bags and other camping equipment! Perfect for the overnighter to get the golden hours the next day!
The 2L hydration compartment will be great for hiking trips
The 2L Hydration pack, especially in the summer when it can get quite hot when you’re trying to get that shot you want
Weather proofing and removable camera cases = AWESOME!
Best feature for me would be the tripod housing! This backpack is awesome! Getting a tripod up a mountain is such a mission, this would make it so much easier to get those fantastic panoramic shots that we all love 😉
The photography and water resistance ability definitely send me to a wild wild advanture I am guarantee that my equipement are safe, rainy, sunny or snowy…the moment will be captured.
Definitely the Two Liter Hydration Compartment, missing that on my current bag!
Sounds like equipment I would take on mountain expedition to South America
Finely Lowepro has got a bag that is made for the traveler. I want
Camping / Hiking equipment with camera gear in one pack. Great idea!
The Two Liter Hydration Compartment is a definite bonus amongst all the great features.
Having all my camera gear and camping equipment in one bag is a huge bonus!
The water resistant exterior of course, which will go nicely with my weather sealed DSLR. Bring on the elements!
We film all over Africa often in very remote areas so the fact that this bag has a 2liter hydration compartment, as well as having a water resistant exterior is awesome, and would really help us in our work for NGO’s.

Usually there’s a bag on your back for camping goodies, and a camera bag at the front. This has a place for all my toys, a hydration pack (big bonus), and even space for small tent -Wow!
I like the fact that that not only is your camera and lens packed away snug and safe but your tent, poles and axe/ tripod can be added as well!
As simple an idea as it may sound, the Hydration Compartment is a lifesaver in my book. Without hydration, any adventure will end prematurely.
Many Storage Options, Front and Side Access and Two Liter Hydration Compartment
The bag has great storage options with front and side access. Great for packing lots of different things without having them loose & lost!
Best feature for me is the water-resistant exterior!
great storage options and the water resistant exterior
Multi-purpose. Camera gear plus other ESSENTIALS 🙂
Instead of arse-creeping Orms for their great service…..I wish Mike and a ALL of his staff a merry xmas and a great new year.Oh yes…..and I like that the backpack can fit a tent etc and all photo gear
the features that this backpack has will be enough of an adventure to me… but other than that, having a bag that can hold everything this can will come in handy in more than one instance.
the Hydration Compartment is the feature I like most
The water resistant exterior to help keep my equipment safe and the hydration bladder to keep me hydrated on long hikes!! The amount of space to have everything I need together is just amazingly practical
With this backpack I’ll be able to take my camera with me when I ride om MTB trails
Love the water-resistant exterior!
Two Liter Hydration Compartment for long hikes and Water-Resistant Exterior with All-Weather Cover to keep all of my equipment dry.
the hydration compartment would ensure far longer bush missions.
The pack -up and go exploring appeal …being waterproof is a great feature
Water resistant, AWESOME! Don’t need my equipment getting wet under unforeseen circumstances!
The carrying capabilities and comfort.
I think the hydration compartment is ideal in our hot climate, avoiding the need to carry an extra bottle. Brilliant!!!!
The fact that it is a Lowepro gives me the peace of mind that my expensive gear is safe while roaming around in the wild. The Lowepro name says it all!
The overall volume of the pack is great for carrying a long lens!
The many storage options on the Rover Pro is a HUGE plus. Being able to consolidate camera gear AND hiking/camping equipment in one backpack is genuinely handy!
Peace of mind where all th ats required to explore is in 1 place and well taken care of!
Its water resistance, all-weather cover and the fact it has a sizeable backpack form factor. All aspects I currently need to carry out my devious plans with.
The size – the fact that it can store everything including camping equipment is awesome and convenient.
wow… One can never have enough bags, and this one looks particularly brilliant!
I would love a waterproof Exterior. I want one… 🙂
It’s massive carrying capacity.
Waterproofing and capacity make the difference! What an awesome piece of equipment! Wish I had had something like this while I was working in the field!
The 2 liter hydration compartement will be great on my next trip to India.
outdoor gear and photography equipment in the same bag, that’s the most awesome feature this bag can offer!! Can’t wait trip with this bag!
swap my existing one for that one, need it for my next trip to Iceland in July 2013.
The extensive carrying capacity. Making all of those hiking trips more memorable being able to carry my Nikon with me.
Am I really lucky to have this one which carries “Many Storage Options, Front and Side Access” Plz God
The combination of the bag’s capacity combined with the waterproof cover means 2 great things for anyone adventurous photographer – longer journeys with more gear, and no stopping the adventure, regardless of weather. Now that’s my kinda back pack!
The waterproof exterior and all-weather cover – I shoot a lot in the outdoors, especially along coastal areas where my gear is always susceptible to getting damp or wet!
The side tripod sinch for those awesome night sky shots in the mountains.
The “thought of everything!” feature – Will fit EVERYthing in there, safely weatherproofed — leaving nothing out. Love it.
…man i would love the extra space! esp with the new gear i bought recently from ORMS…STUNNING BAG!!
Being able to safely carry all my photography gear as well as little bit extra on my next hiking trip. Awesome bag.
It would be the: Two Removable Camera Cases 🙂
The tripod section frees up your hands to get stuck into the adventure!
The water resistance and the ability to hold an iPad! 🙂
The Hydration compartment has to be the most useful followed by the ability to carry a tent and sleeping bag. It would be a huge help in surviving the Zombie Apocolypse while take some great moody photos of a deserted JHB.
The fact that it is a all in one bag with safety added to your gear, no more 1 personal and 1 gear bag!
It would be the Water-Resistant Exterior
Removable camera case and hydration compartment FTW!
This backpack would be quite useful while photographing the end of the world.
Removable camera case and hydration compartment
Nice improvement over the older Lowepro tripod attachment systems – would be a decent upgrade over my old and tired Mini Trekker AW bag
