Journey: Part 1 is an incredible time-lapse video created by Los Angeles-based photographer and videographer Andrew Walker, set to the breathtaking soundtrack of Hans Zimmer’s Journey to the Line. So enable HD, turn up the volume on your headphones, and hit the play button:
“This timelapse video is a collection of footage shot over the last year and a half around the western half of the United States. The shots ranged from very different locations. From Montana to Arizona, and most weren’t easy to get to, but of course that makes them worth going to. The locations captured ranged in temps of 38ΒΊ CΒ to -9ΒΊ C and in elevations of 3,650 metre to 69 metre below sea level. It took over 15,000 captured still images to make this video.”
Gear: Dynamic Perception, Kessler Crane and eMotimo.
According to the creator, Part 2 will feature urban scenes. View more of Andrew’s work on the 599 Productions website, and follow him on Twitter for updates.
