If you are interested in photographing animals, or maybe just like photographing your family pets – this is one to watch. Nikon caught up with Portland-based pet and wildlife photographer, Carli DavidsonΒ to have a chat about how she started out, look at her technique and her favourite gear.
Carli said she started photographing their pets at home when she was a kid. Later on, while on staff at the Oregon Zoo she ventured on to other animal portraits, this eventually leading to a very successful photography career. Her portfolio includes portraits of exotic animals, pets with disabilities, cats and dogs – she’s also published a few books with adorable images of dogs caught mid shake, they are available from Amazon here.
