A peak inside Google’s data centres: Connie Zhou’s great interior photos showcase the colourful networks of pipes and servers.
What do the interiors of a Google data centre look like? Well, for one, it’s a lot more colourful than we expected!
In 2012, New York-based interior and architecture photographer Connie Zhou was granted unprecedented access to take photos inside the tech giant’s massive data centres. The images reveal colourful networks of coolant pipes and server racks, all mimicking the company’s bright corporate colours. At the time, Popular Photography interviewed her about the shoot – a great read if you’d like to know more about the project.
Here’s a selection of photos from the shoot – view the rest on Behance, or visit Connie’s website for more of her incredible work.
