Hougaard’s images offer an incredible look at the natural beauty of Southern Africa and South America and his knowledge of composition and lighting is second to none. We’d say that the biggest secret to these great photos is timing and location – it’s not always easy to be in the right place at the right time, but Hougaard seems to pull it off more often than most, resulting in some spectacular images!
Hougaard has also teamed up with Paul Bruins to create Capture Earth, which offers expeditions and workshops for those interested in learning from both of these great landscape photographers.
