We’ve been following British landscape photographer, Thomas Heaton‘s photography vlogs for about a year now. If you’ve been following along, you’ve more than likely grown accustomed to his enthusiasm, honesty and that he doesn’t give impression that the “perfect shot” comes easy. More often than not, you’ve got to downright work for it. As he says; “Lots of photographers may have you believe that landscape photography is all about being at one with nature, witnessing beautiful sunsets and connecting with the landscape on another level. Well, sadly this is rarely the case”.
Let’s take a look as Thomas faces the UGLY side of Landscape Photography.
Out of interest, the settings on the two images Thomas did get – Image One: ‘Winter Layers’ | 57mm | 1/8 sec | f5.6 | ISO 100 and Image Two: ‘Untitled’ | 131mm | 1/13 sec | f5.6 | ISO 100.
