The Cape Town School of Photography opened their full-time student exhibition on Thursday evening. The school is well known for showcasing their student work at the end of each term and this exhibition is truly inspirational and thought provoking.
The work explores themes around the body, beauty culture, the social environment, and self portraiture. Most of the work is accompanied by a detailed artist statement, not only offering a sense of depth to the work but also an insight into the student’s process.
This is an exhibition well worth visiting. The exhibition is on view daily between 9.30 and 3.30 and runs until late November before the final collective end-of-year showcase on the 4 December.
