After six weeks of shooting and nine months of editing, this is “Alive”. An incredible wilderness time-lapse by Florian Nick.
So you know how we love a good time-lapse, I mean who doesn’t right? Well, imagine our delight when we came across this stunner by Stuttgart-based photographer and filmmaker Florian Nick. Six weeks of shooting, 54 000 images and nine months of editing later… I think you’ll agree the final product is well worth the time and effort Florian put into this.
About the project Florian writes; “I traveled 5500 km in six weeks exploring the vast landscapes of British Columbia and Alberta in Canada, always looking to place my camera gear in the most beautiful sceneries possible. With 54.000 single photos shot along the way I created ALIVE – a time-lapse film which takes you on a vivid journey through wild forests, along the shores of crystal lakes and up the hills of massive mountains.”
He continues; “By making this project, I want to raise awareness of our wonderful planet earth which we have the privilege to be part of. That’s why we have to take responsibility for it – for the place where we are alive.”
