Leica has released a great video featuring the photography portfolios of the winners and finalists of the Oskar Barnack Award 2014, which included South African photographer Ilan Godfrey.

Field Trip, a series of photos taken in Israel by Martin Kollar, was selected as the overall winner of the award, which was named after the original inventor of 35mm photography, Oskar Barnack, while Alejandro Cegarra won the Newcomer Award for The Other Side Of The Tower Of David.

Ilan Godfrey’s Ernest Cole Award-winning series, Legacy of the Mine, was one of the finalists in the running for the award. The other finalists included: Max Cabello Orcasitas, Alisa Resnik, Francesco Anselmi, Alvaro Deprit, Patrick Willocq, Emeric Lhuisset, Ben Brody, and Alfonso Moral.
