Shooting mostly on film, Alejandro has developed his signature style of shooting portraits and landscapes using only the full moon as his light source (Update: He also makes use of strobes and continuous light to add fill) – which means that his portrait subjects have to stand motionless for the duration of the long exposure – a feat made even more impressive by the fact that he can’t preview the shots after each exposure.
