Watch how Action Photographer, Christoph Jorda equipped with two Profoto B1 off-camera flashes at high-speed sync and some pretty amazing BMX talent resulted in images exploding with colour.

We’ve all seen BMX bikers frozen mid air, we’ve even seen colour powder frozen in air. But today, we take a look at a combination of the two, resulting in some pretty amazing images by German action Photographer, Christoph Jorda. Armed with two B1 Off-Camera Flashes set to High-Speed Sync Mode, Christoph and his team continued their work on a personal project. He wanted to show the 4 elements Air, Water, Dirt and Fire within a Bike jump, this video, bringing in the 4th and final element – Air.

The Profoto B1 is not just a stay-at-home flash. Its TTL function shines the brightest in challenging lighting conditions and with cordless operation, this unit unleashes your creativity. If you find the Profoto B1 is a little big but you still want these amazing features, be sure to check out Kobus Tollig’s Profoto B2 Review.

The Profoto B2 also features full TTL with both Canon and Nikon cameras; is FP- and HSS-sync capable for flash syncs speeds of up to 1/8000’s and features fast flash durations ranging from 1/1,000 – 1/15,000 Sec.

If you’ve had any experience with the Profoto B1 or B2, feel free to share. We love hearing from you.
