We’ve all seen the usual images of Table Mountain, St. James Beach, Lion’s Head and the like. And while they’re all stunning, we would like to do things a little differently with this photographic competition.

From the beaten track and secret beaches to the abandoned towns and wild plains, we want to see our beautiful country from your unique perspective. Let’s show South Africa like we’ve never seen it before!

Competition Details

How To Enter

Submit your best images highlighting the beauty of South Africa. Entries are unlimited!
Fill in the submission form.
To keep the images consistent, we are only accepting LANDSCAPE format.
Upload your images (in JPEG format, no larger than 5MB each) at the link. We have space for only 4,000 submissions, so enter as soon as possible.
You can only upload 5 images at a time, but unlimited submissions are allowed.
If you are chosen as a finalist, you will hear back from us via the email address you provided to request your high resolutions file for printing.

Terms & Conditions

The Orms & Canon Takes You Places competition (the “Competition”) is only available for South African residents.
One overall winner will be chosen, and this choice is at the judges’ discretion. Additionally, 20 of the most outstanding images will be exhibited on the Sea Point Promenade. In both cases, the judges’ decision is final, and no correspondence will be entered into regarding their decision.
The Competition runs from 12 October 2022 until midnight on 4 November 2022 and takes place via the submission form here.
Entries must be made by submitting a photograph of the nature described in the “How To Enter” section of this page via the submission form. No entries on other platforms or via any other communication channels will be accepted.
The competition is open to all South African citizens except directors, members, partners, employees, agents, service providers and consultants of The Organisers (Orms and Canon) as well as their spouses, business partners and associates.
The prizes are non-transferable and cannot be exchanged for cash.
By submitting your work for the Competition, you acknowledge and allow Orms and Canon to use your original work for promotional purposes for a specified period after the competition.
