As you know, we always love to see what our clients are shooting and so we were simply delighted to see a recent travel project by local creative, Rory Allan. Rory is a Namibian-born, Cape Town creative who specialises in time-lapse photography and video. About the

About the project Rory says: “My girlfriend and I spent nearly three weeks in Vietnam over September and October 2015. It is an amazing place and very diverse in its landscapes and cultures. We started out in Ho Chi Minh City (Saigon) before moving to Phú Quốc island in the South then flying up to the capital Hanoi and Cát Bà island in the NorthWe then caught a bus down the East Coast to Hue and past Da Nang to Hội An on the way back to Ho Chi Minh.”

Gear for this project included: Canon 5D Mk III, Canon 16-35mm f/2.8 II, Tamron 24-70mm f/2.8, Sirui T-005KX Travel Tripod, CPL and ND filters, Timelapse Plus Intervalometer and the Sony RX100 IV.
