In this video tutorial, I will show you some techniques on how to create a home made vignette effect!ย First of all, we will start creating a selection with the elliptical marquee tool. Once we are done, we will feather our selection with about 250px. After that we will repeat the feathering process once more, to have an even more feathered selection. Now we will create a levels adjustment layer, with the marquee selection creating the mask. We will now fine tune our levels adjustment layer and once we are done, we will use our brush tool to paint back our vignette effect.
Quick reminder: When working with the brush tool, keep on changing your sizes and opacity for different strength quality.
